‘하나님의 신실은 나에 의해 변하지 않는다’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님의 택함과 말씀을 위탁 받은 내가 믿지 않아도 하나님의 신실하심은 변치 않는다. 나의 불의로 하나님의 의로 우심이 드러 나면 나는 벌 받지 않는다고 나의 불의를 합리화 하는 사람도 있다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
그러나 나의 불의는 하나님의 영광을 가린다. 나의 죄가 하나님의 선을 이루지 못한다. 교리보다 하나님의 사랑이 더 필요하고 정의와 공의보다 은혜가 더 필요하다고 하는 것은 궤변 이다.
결단과 적용
율법과 말씀을 주신 이유는 하나님의 사랑과 은혜를 그를 통해 깨닫게 하시기 때문이다. 그 사랑과 은혜로 나를 살리시려고 주님은 죽으시고 부활하셨다. 그러므로 나도 ‘같은 마음으로 갑옷을 삼고 나의 정과 욕을 예수와 함께 십자가에 못박아버리고 하나님께 순종하며 하나님중심의 삶으로 매일 부활하며 산다.
‘God’s faithfulness is not be changed by me’
Rom. 3:1-8
Observation and meditation on the text
God’s faithfulness will never be tossed to and fro according to my faithfulness or unfaithfulness even though God has chosen me and entrusted me with his words. However, there are some who rationalize themselves that they would be still saved if God’s righteousness is revealed through their falsehood.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
However, my falsehood will blaspheme God’s glory. My sins never fulfill God’s goodness. It is a sophistry to say that I need more love than doctrines, more grace than justice. If you love God, you complete God’s decrees and laws by obeying and keeping them.
Decisions and applications
God has given me the law and word to experience God’s love and grace through them. Such immense love of God gave his only begotten son Jesus for me to save me through his crucifixion and resurrection. Therefore, I arm myself with the same attitude of Jesus by crucifying my fleshly desires with Jesus so that I may also be resurrected with Jesus to live God-centered obedient new life every day.
