‘하나님의 진노를 자초하는자가 되지말라’
본문관찰과 묵상
남을 판단하는 자는 그것으로 자신을 정죄하는 것이다. 하나님의 진노를 자초한다. 하나님은 당 짓는 자들에게 진노와 분노로, 악을 행하는 자에게는 환난과 고초로 심판한다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
선을 행하고 율법을 지키는 자는 영광과 존귀와 평강을 누린다. 율법 없는 이방인은 자기의 양심이 율법이 되어 증거한다. 율법 없이 범죄한 자는 율법 없이 망하고 율법 있이 범죄한 자는 자는 율법의 심판을 받는다.
결단과 적용
하나님은 거짓으로 속이는 자들에게 속지 않으신다. 선을 행하는 자에게는 영생으로 악을 행하는 자에게는 진노로 심판하신다. 율법과 양심에 따라 심판하신다는 것이 아니라 율법이 있든 없든 하나님의 심판은 공정하다. 나 대신 심판 받으신 예수 그리스도를 믿는 자는 어떤 정죄에서도 자유하다. 이 자유함으로 오늘을산다.
‘Never invite God’s judgment of wrath’
Rom. 2:1-16
Observation and meditation on the text
If I judge others, then I shall be judged by myself by the same condemnation. I will invite God’s judgment of wrath. God judges those who are self-seeking by rejecting the truth with wrath and anger. God judges those who are practicing wickedness with trouble and distress.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Those who practice good doings by keeping the Law will enjoy honor and peace. The gentiles who are living without the law do by nature things required by the law, they are the law for themselves. Those who commit sins without the law will perish without the law, and those who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
Decisions and applications
God is never deceived by the deceivers. God judges those who live by God’s will with honor, but with God’s wrath to those who live against God’s will. It does not mean that God judges people by the law and conscience, but declares God’s judgment is just and righteous whether one has the law or not. Jesus Christ who has been judged on behalf of me will set me free from any condemnation. I praise the Lord today for such a freedom God has bestowed on me through Jesus Christ my Savior and Lord.
