‘하나님이 심판 중에 찾는 사람이 되라’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님은 6천사로 죽이는 무기를 가지고 우상숭배자를 남녀노소 불문하고 다 죽이라고 했다. 7번째 천사에게는 가증한 일을 보고 탄식하는 자의 이마에 표를 해서 구원받게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님의 심판은 우상숭배자들을 죽여 거룩한 성전에 시체로 가득 차게 했다. 하나님의 심판은 죄를 도말 한다. 타락한 성전은 시체로 채워 완전히 버림받게 심판했다. 예수도 우리 죄를 다 담당하고 십자가에서 완전히 버림받았다. 그리고 죄인을 살렸다.
결단과 적용
심판 중에 ‘이마에 표’ 를 얻은 자는 우상숭배를 거부한 사람들이다. 타협하지 말자. 내가 다 뒤집어 쓰고 억울해도 십자가 지고 자신을 죽이는 사람들을 위해 죽으신 예수의 길을 가자. 거짓은 거부하자. 진실은 죽기까지 타협하지 말고 지키다 죽자.

Observation and meditation on the text
God ordered to the 6 angels to be armed with deadly weapons to kill idolaters whether they were men or women, old or young. To the 7th angel God ordered to put a mark on the foreheads of those who grieved over all the detestable idol worship so that they might be delivered from God’s judgment.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God ordered to fill the temple of God with the corpses of the murdered idolaters. God’s judgment wipes out sins. And even the temple of God was abandoned with the dead bodies of the idolaters by God’s judgment. Jesus was annihilated from God when he was crucified on the cross due to our sins. And Jesus prayed and saved sinners.
Decisions and applications
Those who received a mark on their foreheads were ‘the remnant,’ who grieved and lamented over idol worship. Likewise, I am called not to compromise with the trend of this world. I will keep on marching on the way of the cross, who died for those who had accused him falsely. I will reject lies and false witnesses. I will never conform to the trend of this world until I die.
