‘하나님의 심판은 주 께로의 초청이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
에스겔은 하나님을 섬기던 산에서 우상을 섬기는 백성과 그 산과 땅에 하나님의 진노의 심판을 예언했다. 우상 앞에서 칼과 기근과 전염병으로 죽임당 할 것이다. 흩어져 살며 죄를 깨우칠 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
흩어진 사람 들 중 ‘남은자’들이 자신들의 악행을 깨닫고 회개하며 고난속에서 비로소 여호와가 하나님 인줄 깨닫게 된다. 고난이 없었다면 깨닫지 못하기에 고난당한 것이 나에게 유익이 된다.
결단과 적용
하나님이 사랑하는 자녀 들에게만 고난을 주신다. 고난속에서 믿음이 정련되어 재림 예수 앞에서 칭찬과 존귀와 영광을 받게 한다. 그 영광에 참여하려면 예수와 함께 지금 고난 받은 것이 당연하다. 그리고 그 고난은 장차 임할 영광과 비교할 수 없다. 그래서 오늘도 찬송하며 살 때 평안으로 인도함을 받는다. 주께 찬양, 감사드린다.
‘God’s judgment is God’s invitation to himself’
Eze 6:1-14
Observation and meditation on the text
Ezekiel prophesied God’s judgment of wrath upon the mountains where they should serve God, but served idols, and idol worshippers, and the hills and high places. They would lie slain before the idols they served by the sword, famine, and the plague. When they were scattered and live in other nations, they would remember God who must have been grieved by their adulterous and detestable sins.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
‘The remnant’ among the diasporas would realize how sinful they were in their sufferings upon God’ judgment. And in sufferings and pains they would realize the Lord was their God. Without sufferings I do not realize who God is. Therefore, it is good for me to suffer.
Decisions and applications
God allows sufferings only to God’s beloved children. As much my faith is purified and smelted in a furnace like sufferings as I would be commended, honored, and glorified by Jesus. To participate and share such a glory before Jesus, it is natural for
me to share sufferings with Jesus. My present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in me. Therefore, as I praise the Lord, today I am being led into a peaceful life. I praise and give thanks to the Lord for that!
