‘파수꾼은 자신의 삶으로 심판을 예언’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님은 예루살렘의 멸망을 파수꾼에게 진흙에 그리게 했다. 적에게 포위되어 함락될 것이다. 왼쪽으로 390일, 오른쪽으로 40일을 누워 불순종한 백성이 당할 고통의 날을 몸으로 살고 소 똥으로 구운 떡과 물을 옥에 갇힌 것처럼 줄에 매여 먹게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
참된 양식인 하나님의 말씀을 먹지 않고 불순종한 백성은 결국 자신들이 원치 않는 감옥에서 매여 먹게 되리라. 그런 음식도 부족 해 먹지 못하고 여러 나라에 디아스포라 로 흩어질 것이다.
결단과 적용
불순종하는 백성에게 하나님은 왜 파수꾼을 보내 앞으로 일어날 멸망에 대해 예언케 하는가? 빨리 죄를 회개하고 돌아와 멸망당하 지 말고 구원받으라는 마지막 메시지다. 회개만이 회복을 가져옴에 오늘도 나를 살피며 회개하며 공동체의 회복을 위해 기도한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
God had Ezekiel draw the picture of the seize of Jerusalem on a block of clay in detail. Judeans would be surrounded by their enemies and conquered by them. God had Ezekiel lie on his left side for 390 days, and right side for 40 days to prophesy the judgment of their sins in sufferings by living out of Ezekiel’s life. Furthermore, God had Ezekiel bound by ropes as if he was incarcerated and eat bread baked by cow dung and drink.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The disobedient Judeans refused to eat the living word of God. After all, due to their sins, they would eat what they hated like a prisoner bound by ropes. Since such food and water would be scarce, they should be scattered to many countries as diasporas.
Decisions and applications
Why does God send his watchmen to the disobedient to prophesy their future destruction? Because God wants the sinners to repent of their sins to return to God to be saved by obeying Him. Since restoration of life comes from repentance, today I probe myself with scrutiny in prayers to repent of my and community’s sins so that all of us should be restored.
