‘마지막 멸망의 심판도 사랑의 심판’
본문관찰과 묵상
제2차 바벨론 침공 때 끌려온 에스겔이 예루살렘이 완전히 멸망하리라는 하나님의 메시지를 받아 전했다. 그 심판은 가난한 자를 착취해 먹을 것을 저장한 자도 먹지 못하고 죽는 심판이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
유다 백성이 회개하고 돌이키기를 기다렸지만 바벨론의 침공에도 회개하지 않는 백성을 향한 하나님의 진노의 심판은 예루살렘의 멸망이었다. 그 멸망의 심판속에 하나님께 돌아오라는 메시지다.
결단과 적용
죄에 대해 진심으로 회개한 다윗은 하나님의 마음에 합당한 사람이라 인정받고 그의 삶이 회복되고 하나님께 쓰임받았다. 죄를 감추고 빠져나가는 자는 결국 망한다. 회개만이 살길이다. 오늘도 나를 돌아보며 주님께 회개한다. 진실을 모른 채 속는 사람들이 불쌍하다. 저들을 위해 기도한다. 다 회개하고 회복시켜 주소서!
‘God’s last judgment is the judgment of love too’
Eze 7:1-13
Observation and meditation on the text
Ezekiel who was taken to the Babylonian captivity at the 2nd attack of Babylon received God’s last judgment of Jerusalem and prophesied it. Even those who wickedly exploited the poor could not survive with what they had accumulated by the last judgment of God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
It was the destruction of Jerusalem through God’s last judgment to the Judeans who had never repented of their sins while God was waiting patiently for them to return to God. In other words, God’s last judgment was also God’s message for them to return to God as they would experience to pay the severe price for their sins through merciless judgment.
Decisions and applications
David was not only recognized by God as ‘a man after God’s own heart,’ but also used by God as his special instrument for God’s glory when he genuinely repented of his sins before God. If a sinner hides his sins to survive, it will be vain for him because the wage of sin is death. The only way for the restoration of sinner’ s life is repentance. Therefore, today, I keep on examining my heart whether there is anything I must repent. I feel empathy for those who are being deceived by lies. Lord, please help all of us repent of our sins so that all of us may be restored to glorify you!
