‘무당도 다스리는 하나님께 순종하라.’
본문 관찰과 묵상
이스라엘이 모압평지에 진을 쳤다. 모압 왕 발락이 두려움에 미디안의 점술가 발람에게 복채를 주고 이스라엘을 저주하게 했다. 발람은 여호와께도 물었고 여호와는 저주하지 말라고 명령했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
인간은 진리를 알아도 돈과 사람들의 유혹에 넘어가기 쉽다. 용한 점술가는 하나님의 뜻도 점술로 헤아린다. 발람은 하나님의 뜻을 분별하고 이스라엘을 저주하는 것을 거절했다.
결단과 적용
유혹은 내게도 항상 임한다. 나는 하나님의 말씀과 성령님의 뜻을 먼저 분별해야 한다. 나를 유혹하는 것이 많아도 나는 주님의 뜻을 순종한다. 하나님중심이 아닌 자기 중심으로 살지 않도록 기도와 감사에 늘 깨어서 오늘을 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The Israelites camped on the plain of Moab. Balak king of Moab gave Balaam a Median sorcerer the fee for divination to curse the Israelites out of fear of them. Balaam asked the Lord, and God ordered him never curse the Israelites who were blessed by God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Human beings are prone to be credulous and gullible even though we know the truth when we are tempted by money and instigators. However, an able sorcerer can discern God’s will. Balaam discerned God’s will and refused to curse the Israelites.
Decisions and applications
I am not exempt from temptations. Therefore, I must discern God’s will by the Holy Spirit. No matter how many temptations may attract me, I will obey God’s will. I must be alert whether I live Christ-centered or I, my, me-centered life consistently by prayers with thanksgiving today.
