‘내가 택함 받은 것은 복음전파 때문이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
바울은 자신이 택함받고 부르심을 받은 것은 복음, 즉 그리스도 예수를 증거하기 위함이라 선포한다. 예수는 육신으로는 다윗의 후손이요 영적으로는 죽고 부활하신 하나님의 아들이라 했다.

바울은 이렇게 택함 받고 예수의 증인으로 부르심을 입은 것은 자신 같은 사도만이 아니라 예수 그리스도의 은혜로 구원받은 모든 성도들도 똑 같다고 했다. 구원받은 자는 구원자 예수를 증거한다.
결단과 적용
‘나의 나 됨은 하나님의 은혜요’ (고전 15:10). 은혜로 나를 구원해 주심은 나도 구원자 예수 그리스도의 증인으로 세우신 것이다. ‘너희는 택한 족속이요 거룩한 나라요 그의 소유된 백성이니 이는 너희를 어두움 가운데서 불러내어 그의 기이한 빛에 들어가게 하신 이의 아름다운 덕을 선포하게 하려 하심이라’ (벧전 2:9). 아멘!!

Observation and meditation on the text
Paul declared clearly that the reason why he was chosen and called by God was to preach and witness Christ Jesus who was the gospel. Jesus was born of a descendant of David as a human being, but spiritually he was crucified and resurrected Son of God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Paul pronounced lucidly that such chosen and called people, all the Christians, also the apostles and witnesses of Jesus because all of us have been being saved by his grace. The saved are called to witness the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ.
Decisions and applications
‘By the grace of God, I am what I am’ (I Co 15:10). The reason why Jesus Christ has saved me is to be his witness, my Savior and Lord. ‘You are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light’ (I Pet 2:9). Praise the Lord! Amen! Halleluiah!!
