‘버려진 자를 신부로 삼으시는 은혜’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님은 예루살렘을 태어나자 마자 버려진 갓난 아기로 비유 했다. 그러나 하나님은 그를 거두어 물로 씻고 기름을 바르고 은 금과 보석으로 장식하여 입히고 왕후의 자리에 올림 받게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님은 나 같이 버려진 죄인도 거두어 주셨다. ‘피투성이라도 살아있으라, 살아 있으라’ 하시며 나를 살리셨다. 죄로 벌거벗은 수치를 구원으로 덮어주시고 하나님의 자녀로 나를 높여 주셨다.
결단과 적용
‘나의 나 됨은 하나님의 은혜요..내가 모든 사도보다 더 많이 수고하였으나 내가 한 것이 아니요 오직 나와 함께하신 하나님의 은혜로라.’ (고전 15:10). 주님 앞에 갈때까지 그 은혜를 잊지 않고 살리라. 오직 주님 께만 영광 돌리기 위해 십자가의 길을 가리라!
‘Deserted but adopted as His bride by Grace’
Eze 16:1-14
Observation and meditation on the text
God spoke to Ezekiel through a parable of the deserted new -born baby, who was Jerusalem. However, God embraced her washed with water, anointed with oil and embellished her with all kinds of jewels and clothing to become a queen.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God adopted such a deserted sinner like me to be a bride for Jesus. God repeatedly blessed and declared, ‘even though you may lay in your blood, Live, Live!’ God covered my shame of nakedness due to my sins and honored me to become his child.
Decisions and applications
‘By the grace of God, I am what I am and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all the apostles, yet not I but the grace of God that was with me’ (I Co. 15:10). Therefore, I will never forget God’s grace in my daily life. And I will take the way of the cross to glorify only to my Lord.
