‘환난날에 부르짖을 때 임하는 축복’
본문 관찰과 묵상
내 힘으로 아무것도 할 수 없을 때 살아 계신 하나님이 크고 뚜렷하게 보인다. 부르짖어 기도할 때 응답하실 것이 믿어진다. 주를 경외하며 받은 은총의 표적으로 원수는 수치를 당할 것이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
고난 중에서 내가 작아질수록 하나님이 크게 역사하신다. 기도의 응답을 은총의 표적으로 주신다. 그것은 영원히 끊어지지 않는 여호 와의 기념이 된다 (사 55:13). 고난당함이 내게 유익이다 (시 119:71).
결단과 적용
만사가 잘되어 평안가운데 받는 은혜가 있다. 내가 믿음안에 든든히 서게 한다. 나 자신의 믿음이 커진다. 고난 중에 받는 은혜는 나로 더 작아지게 한다. 크신 하나님만 믿고 은총의 표적을 받는다. 고난가운데 있는 모든 사람들에게 큰 유익이 된다. 내가 지금 고난가운데 받는 은총의 표적으로 원수는 수치 당할 것이다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Whenever I realize my strength and power is running out, God is getting bigger and mightier to me in my afflictions. I have assurance that God will listen to my plea and answer to my prayers. God will show me a sign of God’s goodness, which is God’s renown, and my enemies will be put to shame by it.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The more I get smaller, the more God gets bigger to me. God answers my prayers with a sign of God’s goodness. It will be an everlasting sign for God’s renown that will endure forever (Isa 55:13). It was good for me to be afflicted (Ps 119:71).
Decisions and applications
There is God’s grace I receive in peace, which strengthens my self-confidence. My faith is growing. However, God’s grace I receive in sufferings is different; it makes me getting smaller. Only God is getting bigger. And I receive a sign of God’s goodness, which is for the Lord’s renown. It is a great blessing for all people who are being afflicted. By the sign of God’s goodness in the middle of my afflictions right now, my enemies will be put to shame.
