‘남은자에게 임하는 축복을 누리라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
공의와 겸손으로 하나님앞에 나오는 남은자는 심판의 날에 구원 받는다.
블레셋의 도시들은 멸망한다. 남은자들은 사로잡힘에서 놓임받고 양떼를 먹이며 살 것이다. 모압과 암몬은 황폐하고 남은자들이 그것을 기업으로 얻는다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님의 능력은 이방신들을 쇠약하게 만들 것이다. 남은자는 초장의 집에서 하나님께 예배하리라. 구스, 앗수르, 니느웨 도 멸망한다. 하나님은 온 세상을 다스린다. 기쁜성에서 나만 위하여 염려없이 살던 자들도 황폐하리라.
결단과 적용
심판의 날이 공의와 겸손으로 하나님만 의지하고 사는 남은자들 에게는 축복의 날이된다. 초장에서 양떼를 치며 각기 집에서 예배하며 살리라. 하나님없이 우상을 섬기는 온 나라 백성들은 망한다. 하나님은 만국의 하나님이시다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The remnant who come to God in humility and His righteousness shall be saved on the day of God’s judgment. All the cities in Philistine would be destroyed. However, the remnant shall be set free from captivity, and they would take care of their flock. Moab and Ammon also should be destroyed, and the remnant shall receive their portion as God’s blessing.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God’s sovereign power will destroy all the idols on earth. The remnant will reside in green pastures, and they will worship God in their own houses. Cushites, Assyria, and Nineveh shall be destroyed eventually. God reigns all over the world. Those who used to live only for themselves in their own city of revelry shall become ruins.
Decisions and applications
The Day of the Lord, which is the day of judgment shall be the day of God’s blessing upon the remnant who rely on the Lord in humility and justice. They shall tender their flock, and they shall worship the Lord at each home. However, those idol worshipers without God shall be destroyed. God is sovereign God reining all over the nations.
