‘리더는 제자로 양육해 검증된 자를 세우라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
교회의 리더는 자신의 삶은 물론 가정과 교회를 다스리는 리더쉽과 가르치는 은사가 있어야 한다. 또한 외인에게서도 선한 증거를 얻어야 한다. 집사는 깨끗한 양심에 믿음을 가져야 한다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
리더는 남을 탓하지 않고 구별된 삶을 살아 존경받고 항상 배우며 섬김으로 가르치는 자 인지? 집사는 이를 탐하지 않고 믿음으로 헌신하는 자인지? 모두 테스트해보고 나서 직분을 주어야 한다.
결단과 적용
나는 신뢰를 주며 믿어주는 리더쉽이다. 이것을 고맙게 여기는 사람도 있는 반면 겉으로만 순종하는 것 같지 속은 전혀 딴 마음을 먹고 사는 사람도 체험한다. 공동체의 리더나 섬기는 자는 말씀과 기도로 훈련과 양육을 통해 길러내어 검증된 자를 세워야 한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Church leaders must be gifted or equipped to discipline and teach family and church members as well as themselves. Furthermore, they must have a good reputation with others. Deacons and deaconesses must be the ones who keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Leaders and deacons and deaconesses must be appointed after close scrutiny; whether the leaders teach people by serving them as they keep on learning instead of blaming others to be consecrated and honored by people or not? Whether the deaconess and deaconesses are serving people by faith without seeking for their own benefits or not?
Decisions and applications
I am a leader who can entrust and trust others. Some appreciate it while others seem to recognize it but live by their own agenda. Therefore, I am challenged that I must appoint leaders and servants for the community of my ministry out of those who have been tested by others through their training.
