‘하나님을 경외하고 순종하여 축복을 누리라!’
본문 관찰과 묵상
첫째, 나를 지으시고 구원하신 창조주 하나님을 경외하여 기억하고 살아야 한다. 둘째, 누구나 다 죽는 날, 나의 모든 행위와 은밀한 일을 심판하신다. 그 날은 내가 영원한 집으로 돌아가는 날이다. 셋째, 한 목자인 하나님으로부터 받은 잠언의 말씀을 통하여 경고를 받아 말씀대로 순종하라.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님없이 사는 인생은 이 땅에서도 헛되고 헛되다. 하나님으로 부터 받은 말씀들을 통하여 경고를 받지 못하니 죽어서도 심판받고 멸망한다. 그러므로 오늘 나는 나의 미래를 준비하며 말씀에 순종하여 살아간다.
결단과 적용
‘여호와를 경외하는 것이 지혜의 근본이요 거룩하신 자를 아는 것이 명철이니라’(잠 9:10). 하나님을 경외하여 말씀에 경고받고 회개한다. 악에서 떠난다(잠 8:13). 죽음에서 벗어난다(잠 14:27). 재물과 영광과 생명을 상급으로 받는다(잠 22:4). 치료하는 광선으로 영육이 치유 받는다(말 4:2). 이런 체험을 하며 살게 하시는 주님을 찬양한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
There are several things to remember while I am still living. First, I must remember and fear my God who is my creator and savior. Second, I must remember and fear God because everyone shall die, and after that there will be judgment upon my every deed and every hidden thing. And on that day, I shall return to my everlasting home. Third, I must be warned by the words of God to obey them, which are given to me by the wise who received the words from a shepherd who is God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Anyone who lives without God, their life is meaningless, utterly meaningless. Since they are not warned by the words from a shepherd, they shall be destroyed after God’s judgment upon death. Therefore, I hear the voice of the Lord that I must fear and obey the words of God as I prepare the day of judgment.
Decisions and applications
‘The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding’ (Pr.9:10). When I am warned, I repent of my sins. Then, I hate and leave from evil (Pr. 8:13). I shall be turning from the snares of death (Pr. 14:27). I shall be rewarded with riches, honor, and life (Pr. 22:4). I shall be healed by the healing rays in his righteousness (Mal.4:2). I praise the Lord who enables me to enjoy these rewards every day.
