‘예수의 흔적을 가진 새 피조물로 살라!’
본문관찰과 묵상
시력이 약한 바울은 큰 글자로 편지를 썼다. 할례 받아야 구원받는다고 가르치는 거짓 교사들은 육체로 자랑한다. 바울은 새로 지으심을 받은 예수의 흔적을 받은 자는 믿음으로 거듭난 자, 예수께 속한 자이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
물과 성령으로 거듭난 자는 율법을 지킴으로가 아니라 믿음으로 새로지음받은 자다. 그들은 예수 그리스도의 흔적, 스티그마, 낙인이 찍혔다. 예수께 속한자다. 세상이 나를 대해 십자가에 못박혀 죽었고 나도 세상에 대해 죽었다. 그리고 길,진리,생명되신 예수께 대해 살아난 거듭난자다.
결단과 적용
‘할례는 마음에 하라. 신령에 있고 의문에 있지 않다. 사람의 칭찬이 아니라 믿음으로 하나님의 칭찬을 받으라’(롬 2:29). 아브라함도 무할례시에 믿음으로 의롭다함을 얻었다. 믿음으로 새 피조물이 된자는 예수의 스티크마, 낙인이 찍혔다. 나는 믿음으로 예수께 속한 거듭난 자로 예수를 증거하며 오늘을 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Paul wrote his letter to Galatians in large letters because his eyesight was very weak. The false teachers who insisted that the gentiles must be circumcised in the flesh to be saved always boasted about their deeds by the law. Paul argued against them that those who believed in Jesus Christ by faith were the new creation who’s got the stigma of Jesus Christ, who belonged to Jesus.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Those who are born again by the water and the Holy Spirit are the new creation by faith in Jesus, not by keeping the law. They bear on their bodies the stigma of Jesus Christ, which declares itself that they belong to Jesus Christ. The world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. Therefore, now I have been born again to be alive to Jesus who is the way, the truth, and the life by being dead to the world and sins.
Decisions and applications
‘Circumcision is circumcision of the heart by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person’s praise is not from other people but from God’ (Rom 2:29). Abram was justified by faith in God when he was not circumcised. Since I have become a new creation by faith in Jesus Christ, I’ve received the stigma of Jesus, which declares itself that I belong to Jesus by faith. Therefore, today I keep on witnessing Jesus as a new creation.
