‘택함 받은 자는 하나님이 회복시키신다’   본문관찰과 묵상      스가랴는 말 탄 사람들을 보았다.  하나님이 두루 다니며 살피라고 보낸 자들이다.  온 땅이 평안하다는 보고를 받은 천사가 70년동안 고통받은 백성을 돌아봐 달라고 간청했다.            QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      하나님은 예루살렘의 회복을 약속했다.  예루살렘이 재건축되고 성읍들이 다시 풍부할 것이라고 약속했다.  네 개의 뿔은 이스라엘, 유다를 망하게 한 나라들이고 대장장이 4이 저들을 멸절할 것이다.   결단과 적용       하나님이 택한 자는 연단의 기간을 거친 후에 하나님이 회복 시킨다. 스룹바벨에게 하신 말씀도 ‘힘으로 능으로 되지 않고 오직 하나님의 영으로 되느니라’ (슥 4:6). 내 능력이 아닌 하나님의 능력으로 하나님의 백성들과 공동체는 회복된다.            ‘The chosen will be restored by God.’ Zec 1:7-21     Observation and meditation on the text      Zecharia witnessed in his vision men riding on horses.  They were sent by God to go through the earth.  When an angel was reported by them that the whole world was at rest in peace, the angel pleaded to God to be merciful upon the Jews who were suffering for 70 years in Babylonian captivity.         I hear the voice of the Lord through QT      God promised to restore Jerusalem so that she and other cities would be rebuilt and prosperous again.  The 4 horns were the nations which destroyed Israel and Judah, but the 4 craftsmen sent by God would destroy the enemy nations.          Decisions and applications      The chosen will be restored after God’s discipline.  God’s promise to Zerubbabel was also ‘not by might, nor by power but by my Spirit, says the Lord Almighty.’ (Zec 4:6).  It is God’s power, not mine, which will rebuild and restore God’s people and community, his church.  Thank you Lord for your promise!     

  ‘먼저 내 마음에 하나님의 성전을 지으라!’   본문관찰과 묵상      고레스왕의 칙령으로 예루살렘으로 돌아간 유대인들이 다리오왕 2년에서야 성전을 재건축하기 시작했다.  하나님은 선지자 스가랴 를 보내 하나님께로 돌아와 마음의 성전부터 지으라고 예언했다.       QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      포로에서 고향으로 귀국한 것이 끝이 아니다.  이제 하나님께로 돌아와야 한다.  유대인의 조상들은 하나님의 말씀에 불순종해서 망했다. 반면교사로 삼아 악한 길, 악한 행위에서 돌아서야 산다.           결단과 적용       회개만이 진정한 회복을 가져온다.  눈에 보이는 성전을 짓기전에 마음에 성령이 거하시는 거룩한 성전을 내 몸에 먼저 지어야 한다.  ‘너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐 누구든지 하나님의 성전을 더럽히면 하나님이 그 사람을 멸하시리라 하나님의 성전은 거룩하니 너희도 그러하니라 (고전 3:16-17).   내 마음의 성전을 지으며 오늘을 산다.         ‘Build the temple of God in your heart first.’ Zec 1:1-6   Observation and meditation on the text      The Jews who returned to Jerusalem by the royal order from the king Cyrus of Persia began to build the temple of God at the 2nd year of the king Darius.  God sent prophet Zechariah and had him declare that they must build the temple of God in their heart first through repentance.     I hear the voice of the Lord through QT      Returning home should not be the end of their exile life.  They were challenged to return to God.  Their ancestors disobeyed the Lord, and they perished.  They must return to God from their evil ways and evil practices as they learned from their ancestors’ failure.     Decisions and applications      Only repentance brings about restoration.  I must build the temple of God in my heart where the Holy Spirit resides before I build the visible temple of God.  ‘Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?  If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple’ (I Co 3:16-17).  Today, I build God’s temple in my heart!    

  ‘선한데 지혜롭고 악한데 미련하라’   본문관찰과 묵상      바울은 분쟁을 일으키거나 거치게 하는 자들은 사탄의 자식들 이니 그들에게서 떠나 교회를 하나되게 하라고 했다.  그리고 하나되어 함께 일한 복음의 동역자들을 소개했다.       QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성      영세전부터 감추어졌던 ‘하나님의 비밀,’ 크룹타스는  바로 예수 그리스도다.  복음을 전파하는 것은 바로 예수 그리스도를 전하는 것이다.  끝까지 충성, 피스타스로 예수의 증인이 되어 살리라!       결단과 적용       어떤 일이 일어나도 나와 함께 끝까지 동역하는 사람들이 너무 귀중하다.  문제가 발생하니 진실 여부는 알려고도 하지 않고 선동하는 사람들의 거짓에 속아 분쟁을 일으키는 사람들이 나타난다.  ‘하나님의 집, 교회에서 심판이 이미 시작되었다’ (벧전4:17).  많은 고난속에서도 끝까지 복음을 전하여 주님께 인도하며 살리라!                ‘To be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil’ Rom. 16:17-27   Observation and meditation on the text     Paul challenged Christians in Rome to keep away from those who caused divisions and put obstacles in their way because they were the children of Satan.  And he introduced them his coworkers who had been united for the sake of the gospel.       I hear the voice of the Lord through QT      ‘God’s secrecy,’ ‘cruptas’ in Greek who was hidden for long ages past was revealed.  He is Jesus Christ.  To proclaim the gospel means to witness Jesus Christ.  Therefore, I will be faithful, ‘pistas,’ in Greek to witness Jesus Christ all the way to the end.       Decisions and applications      Those who have been working together in unity no matt what may happen are my precious coworkers.  Some people are being deceived by a few instigators who cause divisions and put obstacles in their way, and they reveal their identity.  ‘It is time for judgement to begin with God’s household, his church’ (I Pet 4:17).  Therefore, in the middle of extreme sufferings, I am determined to witness Jesus so that some may be led to Chrit.
