‘먼저 내 마음에 하나님의 성전을 지으라!’
본문관찰과 묵상
고레스왕의 칙령으로 예루살렘으로 돌아간 유대인들이 다리오왕 2년에서야 성전을 재건축하기 시작했다. 하나님은 선지자 스가랴 를 보내 하나님께로 돌아와 마음의 성전부터 지으라고 예언했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
포로에서 고향으로 귀국한 것이 끝이 아니다. 이제 하나님께로 돌아와야 한다. 유대인의 조상들은 하나님의 말씀에 불순종해서 망했다. 반면교사로 삼아 악한 길, 악한 행위에서 돌아서야 산다.
결단과 적용
회개만이 진정한 회복을 가져온다. 눈에 보이는 성전을 짓기전에 마음에 성령이 거하시는 거룩한 성전을 내 몸에 먼저 지어야 한다. ‘너희가 하나님의 성전인 것과 하나님의 성령이 너희 안에 계시는 것을 알지 못하느냐 누구든지 하나님의 성전을 더럽히면 하나님이 그 사람을 멸하시리라 하나님의 성전은 거룩하니 너희도 그러하니라 (고전 3:16-17). 내 마음의 성전을 지으며 오늘을 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The Jews who returned to Jerusalem by the royal order from the king Cyrus of Persia began to build the temple of God at the 2nd year of the king Darius. God sent prophet Zechariah and had him declare that they must build the temple of God in their heart first through repentance.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Returning home should not be the end of their exile life. They were challenged to return to God. Their ancestors disobeyed the Lord, and they perished. They must return to God from their evil ways and evil practices as they learned from their ancestors’ failure.
Decisions and applications
Only repentance brings about restoration. I must build the temple of God in my heart where the Holy Spirit resides before I build the visible temple of God. ‘Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple’ (I Co 3:16-17). Today, I build God’s temple in my heart!
