‘혈통이 아닌 하나님의 주권적 선택으로’
본문관찰과 묵상
혈통적 유대인이 유대인이 아니다. 하나님은 사라에게서 태어날 이삭을, 리브가 에게서 태어날 야곱을 택하시고 그들의 자손이 참된 이스라엘이라고 했다. 유대인으로 태어났다고 다 유대인이 아니다.
QT 를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
바울은 이방인을 위한 사도로 택하심을 받았다. 그러나 이방인 들은 복음을 받는데 유대인들이 그리스도도 죽이며 믿지 않았다. 자신이 버림받아도 유대인들이 예수 믿고 구원받기를 원했다. 모태 신앙인이 약속의 자손이 아니다. 하나님의 약속인 예수 그리스도를 믿음으로 나 같은 이방인도 아브라함의 후손이 된다.
결단과 적용
해외선교도 중요하지만 나의 가족구원을 위해 생명을 던져야 한다. 가장 시급한 선교지는 바로 내 골육친척이다. 북반구 기독교국가들이 해외선교에 성공했지만 자식선교에 실패해서 그 나라들이 오늘 선교지가 되었다. 동시다발적으로 선교해야 한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
It is not the children of God by physical descent but by God’s promise. Isaac from Sara and Jacob from Rebekah were chosen by God so that their descendants should be the true children of God. All the physical children of Abraham’s descendant are not true Israelites.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Paul was chosen by God as the apostle for the gentiles. However, the Jews did not receive the gospel, rather they murdered Jesus Christ by their disbelief while the gentiles accepted the gospel by faith. Therefore, l rather wanted to be cursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of the salvation of the Korean families. It is not the children of God by physical descent. Such a gentile like me can become a child of Abraham by believing in Jesus who is the promise of God.
Decisions and applications
I must lay down my life for the salvation of my own race as well as other race in overseas. The most urgent mission field is my own family and race. Such Christian countries in the Northern Hemisphere have done a great overseas missions but failed for their own family and race. And those countries have become mission fields now. I have to reach out unreached people in overseas and my own family and race simultaneously.
