‘의롭다 칭함을 얻은 자의 새로운 삶’
본문관찰과 묵상
내가 아직 죄인이었을 때 예수가 죽으심으로 나를 향한 하나님의 사랑을 확증하셨다. 믿음으로 구원받은 나는 하나님과 화목 되어 그의 영광을 즐거워한다. 구원받은 자는 하나님을 즐거워하며 산다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
환난도 인내하며 인내는 인격을 만들며 참고 인내함으로 소망을 누리며 산다. 죄인을 위해 죽으신 예수는 자신의 사랑을 증명했다. 예수의 죽으심과 부활하심으로 하나님의 진노에서 구원받았으니 하나님과 화평을 누리며 산다. 즉, 양심에 가책 없이 자유하게 산다.
결단과 적용
환난은 인내를 인내는 연단을 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 알기에 나 는 오늘도 환난가운데서 즐겁다 (롬 5:3-5). ‘내가 소망으로 구원을 받았으니 보이는 소망이 소망이 아니니 보는 것을 누가 바라리요 만일 내가 보지 못하는 것을 바라면 참음으로 기다린다’ (롬 8:24-25)

Observation and meditation on the text
God showed God’s love for me while I was still sinner, Christ died for me. As a result, I am enjoying the glory of God by being reconciled with God by my faith in Jesus Christ who died for me. Any saved Christian rejoices peace with God through Christ.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I persevere sufferings. Then sufferings forming my Christian character. Now I live with hope in the middle of suffering. God revealed God’s love for me to have Jesus die for my sins. I am enjoying peace with God because I have been delivered from God’s wrath due to my sins because Jesus died such a sinner like me. In other words, I live with freedom without having any guilty feelings in Jesus Christ.
Decisions and applications
I am enjoying peace in the middle of afflictions because I know suffering produces perseverance; perseverance character; and character hope (Rom 5:3-5). ‘In this hope I was saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have? But if I hope for what I do not yet have, I wait for it patiently’ (Rom. 8:24-25). Lord, help me to wait for your time.
