‘속이는 활같이 빗나가면 망한다.’
본문 관찰과 묵상
이스라엘은 속이는 활같이 하나님을 배반하고 산당 을 세워 우상숭배를 했다. 요셉의 후손 에브라임을 버리시고 오직 유다 지파를 택하시고 다윗을 왕으로 세워 이스라엘을 다스리게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나를 지으시고 택하시고 구원하신 하나님을 배반하고 우상을 섬기면 나는 속이는 활 같은 자 되어 하나님의 노여움을 살 것이다. 과녁을 빗나감이 ‘하마르티아,’ 즉, 죄다. 죄의 삯은 사망이다.
결단과 적용
다윗같이 하나님의 마음에 합한자로 살리라. 주님께 신실하지 못하고 지은죄는 매 순간 회개합니다. 다윗같이 ‘마음의 완전 함’ 을 회복시켜주소서! ‘손의 능숙함’ 을 허락하시사 맡겨 주신 사명 끝 까 지 잘 감당하는 리더가 되게 하소서!

Observation and meditation on the text
The Israelites betrayed God by worshiping idols at the high places as unreliable as a faulty bow. God rejected the tribe of Ephraim, the descendants of Joseph. God chose the tribe of Judah, and enthroned David to reign over Israel.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I will bring about God’s wrath on me if I betray God who is my Creator, Savior by worshiping idols as unreliable as a faulty bow. To miss the target is in Greek, ‘hamartia,’ means committing sins. And the wage of sin is death.
Decisions and applications
I am adamantly and obstinately determined to live as a man after God’s own heart. I repent of my sins right at every moment I realize it. Lord, please restore ‘my heart with integrity,’ and ‘hands with skillfulness,’ like David so that I may consistently and faithfully carry on your mission your gave to me all the way to the end of my life.
