‘자손대대로 하나님께 순종을 가르치라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님이 이스라엘에게 율법을 주신 것은 하나님의 영예와 능력 과 행하신 일을 자손대대로 전함으로 하나님께 소망을 두고 살게 하려함이라. 그래야 광야에서 망한 1세대처럼 멸망하지 않게 하려 하심이라.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나의 믿음이 나의 자손들에게 전수되지 않는다면 그 책임은 내게 있다. 하나님이 내게 주신 은혜와 축복과 구원을 전해줌으로 나의 자손들은 계명을 잘 지켜 멸망하지 않고 복의 근원되게 해야 한다.
결단과 적용
내가 매일 QT를 자손들에게 나누는 것이 바로 하나님의 말씀을 나눔으로 믿음안에서 살게 하려 함이다. 자녀들의 삶의 현장이 치열하다. 그러나 주님말씀에 순종해 살면 저들이 승리할 것이다. 말씀을 나누며 자손들을 위해 기도하면 믿음이 계승되리라!
‘Teach your descendants to obey God’
Ps 78:1-8
Observation and meditation on the text
The reason why God gave the Israelites God’s law was to help their descendants might put their trust in God by teaching and passing the praiseworthy deeds, power and wonders of what God had done for them. Then, they would not be destroyed unlike the first generation of Exodus who perished by their disobedience in the wilderness.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I am accountable to my descendants whether I pass my faith in God to them or not. I must help my children to live as a blessing by keeping God’s law as I pass God’s grace, blessings, and salvation to them so that they may not be destroyed in this sinful generation.
Decisions and applications
I share my daily QT with my children so that they may be nourished and nurtured by the living word of God to live by faith in God. My children’s generation is getting harder and tougher than my generation to live by faith. However, if they live as they obey the living word of God, they will overcome the sinful world. I have assurance that my children will be more than conquerors as I share the word of God with my daily intercessory prayers.
