‘내가 포기하고 싶을 때 기억할 것 한가지는?’
본문 관찰과 묵상
시편기자는 포기하고 싶었을 때 한가지를 기억했다. 주의 팔로 주의 백성을 물가운데서 구원했다. 바다에 길을 내시고 큰 물속에서 주의 백성을 양떼같이 모세와 아론의 손으로 인도해 내셨다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내가 완전히 버림받았다고 느껴질 때, 포기하고 싶을 때 한 가지는 잊지 말아야 한다. 과거에 하나님이 나를 어떻게 구원하셨는가? 환난속에서 리더를 세우셨고 그들을 통해 나를 구원하신 주님을 잊지 말라는 음성을 듣는다.
결단과 적용
30년을 한 교회에서 섬겼다. 내가 섬긴 사람들에게서 배신을 당했다. 억울하고 원통했지만 내 십자가 지고 억울한 누명 쓰고 조용히 주님바라 보며 간다. 30년동안 숱한 난관과 환난속에서 나를 건져 주신 하나님이 이번에도 하나님의 때에 하나님의 방법으로 건져 주실 것을 믿기 때문에 말없이 이 길을 간다.
‘One thing I must remember when I want to give up.’
Ps 77: 10-20
Observation and meditation on the text
The Psalmist remembered one thing when he was about to give up. He confessed with full assurance that it was God who delivered God’s people with his hands from the Red Sea. God opened a way in the Sea and had Moses and Aaron lead God’s people as a shepherd delivered his flock out of despair.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I must not forget one thing when I want to give up out of despair that I am totally forsaken by people. How has God delivered me from sever afflictions in the past? I hear God’s voice that God has sent me a leader, who is Jesus Christ so that I may also be delivered from severe false accusations by Jesus.
Decisions and applications
I have served one church for the last 30 years. I have experienced many betrayals by those whom I have served with all my heart. However, I remain in silence by fixing my eyes upon Jesus in the middle of extreme chagrins and afflictions. Since I have faith in God who has delivered me from many sufferings and afflictions for the last 30 years of my pastoral ministries, I do believe that he will deliver me in God’s time by God’s way from extreme false accusations and betrayals so that I can keep on taking my cross and follow Jesus no matter what may happen to me today.
