‘내가 알지 못하는 대적을 멸하소서!’
본문 관찰과 묵상
바벨론이 예루살렘 성전을 파괴했다. 하나님이 불순종하는 하나님의 백성에 대한 심판이었다. 시편기자는 그 하나님께 보이지 않고 알지 못하는 적을 하나님이 멸해 달라고 탄원했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
성전이 파괴되어도 하나님은 여전히 존재하신다. 내 마음에 주님을 모시면 내가 성령이 거하는 성전이 된다(고전 3:16). 누구를 틈타고 들어오든지 성령으로 악한영을 대적해 이겨야 내가 산다.
결단과 적용
매일의 삶이 영적전쟁이다. ‘성령을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내면 하나님의 나라가 임한다’ (마 12:28). 알지도 보이지도 않는 악한 영이 누구를 통해 나를 공격해도 나는 하나님께 탄원한다. 나의 대적을 멸해 주소서! 악한 영들이 7곱길로 도망가게 하소서!

Observation and meditation on the text
The temple of God in Jerusalem was destroyed by Babylon. It was God’s judgment upon the disobedient God’s people. The Psalmist pleaded to God to destroy his enemies whom he did not know.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God exists forever even though his temple may be destroyed. If I accept Jesus to be my Lord, then I have become a temple of God where the Holy Spirit resides in (I Co 3:16). I must defeat the evil spirits who try to infiltrate into my heart through anyone so that I may be alive.
Decisions and applications
Everyday life is a serious spiritual war. However, ‘if I drive out demons by the power of the Holy Spirit, then the kingdom of God has come upon you’ (Matt 12:28). Therefore, I plead to God whenever I am attacked or afflicted by evil spirit whom I may don’t know or can’t see. They may try to infiltrate into my heart through anyone, but God may destroy it on behalf of me so that the evil spirits may run away from me through 7 different ways.
