‘순종으로 자신의 기업을 지킨 여성들’

므낫세 반지파의 자손 중에 슬로브핫의 딸들은 아들이 받아야할 기업을 받았다. 그들이 결혼하면 희년에 그 기업이 남편이 속한 부족에 넘어갈것이다. 그래서 그 딸들은 자신의 부족인 사촌과 결혼해 영원히 그 기업을 뺏기지 않게 되었다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
내게 주신 기업을 지키려면 하나님의 말씀에 순종해야 한다. 교회에 주신 하나님의 기업을 지키려면 영성이 같은 사람들이 그 기업을 받아 자손 대대로 물려주어야 한다는 음성을 듣는다.
결단과 적용
민수기 마지막 장은 기업을 잃지 않고 자손대대로 계승케 한 슬로브핫의 딸들의 순종으로 끝난다. 지역교회가 자손대대로 하나님이 주신 기업을 계승하려면 말씀에 순종해야 한다. 엘리야의 영성이 엘리사에게 계승됨이, 그리고 모세의 영성이 여호수아에게 계승됨이 저들의 순종에서 왔듯이 순종이 기업을 계승 시킨다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The daughters of Zelophehad, among the half tribe of Manasseh, received their inheritance because Zelophehad did not have any sons. However, it was evident that they would lose their inheritance in the year of Jubilee when all the lands would belong to the husbands’ tribe. Therefore, God had Moses establish the law that the daughters of Zelophehad should get married to men of their own tribe. They got married to their cousins by obedience, and they could keep their inheritance.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
I must obey God’s words if I want to keep my inheritance. Likewise, if any church wants to keep her inheritance, only the descendants of the same spirituality should succeed it by keeping and passing their inheritance to the following generation by obeying God’s words.
Decisions and applications
The last chapter of the Book of Numbers ends with the obedience of the daughters of Zelophehad who had never lost their inheritance unlike the rest of the tribes of Israel who were disobedient. Likewise, if a church wants to pass their inheritance to her descendants, all the church members must obey God’s instructions and words. Only those obedient Christians enable to pass their inheritance to their descendants as Elisha succeeded Elija through his obedience, and as Joshua succeeded Moses by his obedience.
