‘십자가에서 모든 죄인을 용서하신 예수’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수는 목요일 밤에 잡혀 밤새 고초당하고 금요일 낮 12시에 빌라도에 의해 십자가형에 처해졌다. 그 십자가는 예수가 무죄임을 알면서 죽게한 빌라도도, 유대인이면서 로마황제밖에는 왕이 없다고 변절한 유대인도 다 용서했다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
히브리어로 골고다, 해골이라는 곳에서 예수는 십자가형에 처해졌다. 빌라도는 십자가위에 ‘나사렛 예수 유대인의 왕’이라고 패를 써 붙였다. 히브리, 로마, 헬라 말로 썼다. 온 세상 모든 사람에게 예수는 왕이라고 선포됬다.
결단과 적용
‘여호와께서 온갖 것을 그 씌움에 적당하게 지으셨으니 악인도 악한 날에 적당하게 하셨느니라’(잠 16:4). 예수를 조롱하며 십자가에 죽인 사람들 모두도 그날에 예수가 만왕의 왕임을 선포하는데 씌임받았다. 오늘도 이 말씀이 나를 굳게 붙들어주신다. 입을 열지않고 예수가 가신 길을 묵묵히 가리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Jesus suffered almost all Thursday night long since he was arrested and interrogated by Jewish religious leaders and at noon on Friday Jesus was sentenced to death on the cross by Pilate. On the cross Jesus forgave such sinners as Pilate who authorized the death of Jesus whom he knew of his innocence, and the Jews who denounced their own Jewish belief that the Lord was their king by declaring that their king was only Caesar to threaten Pilate to crucify Jesus.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Jesus was crucified at the place of Skull which in Aramaic was called Golgotha. Pilate put a notice on the cross, JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE KING OF THE JEWS. It was written in Aramaic, Latin and Greek. By this notice Jesus was testified to all people that he was the king.
Decisions and applications
‘The Lord works out everything to its proper end-even the wicked for a day of disaster’ (Pr 16:4). All those who mocked and crucified Jesus were used by God to pronounce Jesus was the king. This word strengthens and empowers me to stand firmly on the truth. Therefore, today I simply follow the way of Jesus in silence.
