‘사랑은 모든 것을 다스리는 능력이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수님은 제자들을 벳새다로 보내시고 홀로 남아 기도하셨다. 제자들이 탄 배가 바람에 요동하는 모습을 보시고 물 위로 걸어 배에 올라 바람을 그치게 하셨다. 게네사렛에 이르자 병든자들이 예수께 나와 고침을 받았다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
예수님의 사랑은 바다위를 걸어서라도 바람에 힘들어 하는 제자들을 구원하였다. 바다도 바람도 예수님의 사랑의 능력앞에 잠잠하였다. 병자들이 고침 받고자 예수께 올때마다 저들을 불쌍히 여기시는 사랑으로 치유 하셨다.
결단과 적용
사랑은 능력이다. 자연도 다스린다. 두려움도 이긴다. 한 영혼을 불쌍히 여기는 예수님의 사랑은 모든 병자들도 다 고쳤다. 오늘도 병들고 죽고 썩어가는 세상을 살릴수 있는 것은 사랑 밖에 없다. 사랑을 전파하며 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Jesus was left alone to pray after sending his disciples to go to Bethsaida by boat. Upon witnessing his disciples had a hard time due to the strong wind, Jesus walked on the lake and calmed the wind and saved the disciples. Upon arriving at Gennesaret, many sick people came to Jesus, and he healed them.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Jesus’ love enabled him to walk on the water to save his disciples who had a hard time due to the strong wind. The lake and the wind were calmed down by the power of love of Jesus. Whenever the sick came to Jesus, they were healed by Jesus’ love who had compassion upon them.
Decisions and applications
Love is power. Love reigns over nature. It overcomes fear. Jesus’ love upon a one lost soul out of his compassion healed all kinds of sick people. Love is the only remedy to heal such wounded, diseased, and corrupted contemporary world. I will also live to share and witness the love of Jesus for the rest of my life.
