‘징계를 달게 받는자가 지혜로운 자이다’
본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님이 사랑하는 자에게 주시는 징계를 달게 받는자가 지혜로운자다. 장수와 부귀가 따른다. 지혜로 삶의 기초가 든든하다. 명철로 하나님의 뜻을 분별한다. 지식으로 하나님이 다스리심을 깨닫는다. 평안한 삶을 산다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
징계는 처벌이 아니라 연단이다. 예수님도 바울도 숱한 고난속에서 연단받으셨다. 하나님이 사랑하는 자녀에게만 주시는 축복이다. 고난당할때는 몰라도 고난후에 그것이 얼마나 큰 유익이었는지를 깨닫는다.
결단과 적용
나와 아내는 말 그대로 하루 하루 산다. 내일 일은 모른다. 그저 매일 매일 주님의 손에서 연단받으면서 산다. 죄에 대한 처벌이라해도 괜찮다. 연단이라해도 괜찮다. 이 고난이 나를 자고하지 않게 하는 축복이다. 더 낮은 자리로 매일 내려간다. 정금이 되어 나오지 않아도 괜찮다. 주님이 함께 하시기 때문에 외롭지 않다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Anyone who are willing to be disciplined by God are the wise. Longevity and prosperity shall be followed. Since wisdom is the foundation, their life shall stand firm. Understanding enables them to discern God’s will. They get to know who and what God is by their knowledge. They enjoy a peaceful life.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
To be chastised is not a punishment but a discipline. Paul as well as Jesus went through God’s disciplines in multitude of sufferings, which were the blessings for the children of God whom God beloved. When I was afflicted, I did not understand why. After a while I began to realize its awesome blessings and benefits.
Decisions and applications
My wife and I live day by day literally. We do not know about tomorrow. Day by day I live in God’s hands who keeps on disciplining me. It is OK even though it is God’s punishment for my sins. It is OK for me to be disciplined because he loves me. Suffering has become blessings which keep on making me humble. Therefore, everyday I keep on taking downward mobility. It is OK for me not becoming a pure gold. Since Jesus is with me, I never feel loneliness in any kind of sufferings.
