‘소통 없으면 오해, 소통하면 이해’
본문관찰과 묵상
요단 동편의 2지파 반이 제단을 쌓았다는 소식에 서편 9지파 반이 대표단을 보냈다. 그들이 쌓은 제단은 하나님 앞에 제사를 위함이 아닌 후손들에게 2지파반도 이스라엘임을 증거하는 ‘엣’ 이라는 ‘증인,증거’를 세운 것이었다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
어떤 일이 일어나는 것이 문제가 아니다. 그 문제를 해결하려고 소통을 하면 서로 이해하고 해결된다. 소통이 없으면 오해하고 분열 된다. 이해되고 하나되는 소통은 진실이다. 거짓된 소통은 화를 부른다.
결단과 적용
한 해를 뒤돌아보면 소통이 잘된 일 들에서는 좋은 열매가 맺혔다. 거짓된 소통은 분노를 불러왔고 속이는 자와 속임 당한 자로 공동체는 분열을 체험했다. 소통의 생명은 진실과 겸손이다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Upon hearing the news that the 2 and a half tribes on the eastern side of Jordan established an altar, the 9 and a half tribes on the western side of Joran got angry and sent their delegates to investigate it. The former explained that they did not establish an altar to give offerings to God, but it was an Et, which meant ‘witness or sign’ that the 2 and a half tribes also belonged to Israel even though they lived separately.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
It is not a problem that something happened. What matters is how to respond to it. If both parties communicate, then both can understand each other and solve the problems. However, without communication, there is misunderstanding and any community can be divided. Truth is the key for communication to understand and be understood to be united. Communication with false and lies only brings about destruction.
Decisions and applications
In retrospect, there are fruits in things with good communication. However, communication with lies and falsehood brings about anger and divides a community into two groups: the deceivers and the deceived. Therefore, the key for positive communication is truth and humility before God. Joshua and Jesus are the role model for sincere communication.
