‘복음과 함께 고난을 받아야 할 이유’
본문관찰과 묵상
첫째, 지금 사람들이 복음을 거부하기 때문이다. 둘째, 주님의 듯이 아닌 사욕을 좆는 스승을 따르기 때문이다. 셋째, 복음이 아닌 허탄한 이야기를 좆기 때문이다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
그러므로 예수의 증인, 복음의 증인으로 소명 받은 나는 나를 전제처럼 부어 죽을 때까지 선한 싸움으로 끝까지 복음과 함께 고난을 받는다. 그 후에는 내게 생명의 면류관을 주실 것이다.
결단과 적용
‘내가 사람들에게 좋게하랴 하나님께 좋게하랴 사람들에게 기쁨을 구하랴 내가 지금까지 사람들의 기쁨을 구하였다면 그리스도의 종이 아니니라’ (갈 1:10). 사람들의 인정을 못 받아도 주님 앞에서 ‘칭찬과 영광과 존귀’ (벧전 1:7)를 얻는 삶을 택한다. 오늘도 사람인식하지 않고 주님 앞에서 주님 영광 위해 살리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
First, because nowadays people are inclined to reject the gospel. Second, contemporary people search for teachers for their itching ears to hear what they want to hear. Third, they turn their ears to follow myth.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Since I am called to be a witness of Jesus and his gospel, I am adamantly fight the good fight to endure hardship for the gospel all the way to the end as if I pour a drink offering. After that I have assurance that the Lord will award me with the crown of righteousness.
Decisions and applications
‘Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ’ (Gal. 1:10). Although I may not be recognized by people, I want to ‘be extoled, glorified, and honored’ (I Pet. 1:7) by Jesus Christ when he returns. Therefore, today, I don’t want to live to show something to people, but live to praise the Lord for the glory of my God, Lord Jesus Christ.
