‘이 땅에서 영생을 누리고 살라’
본문 관찰과 묵상
그 다음 안식일에 온 시민이 저의 다 모여 하나님의 말씀을 들었다. 유대인들이 시기하여 비방하였다. 두 사도는 유대인들이 거부하자 자신들은 이방의 빛으로 불림받았다고 했다. 부자와 권세있는 자들을 선동하여 쫒아냈다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
복음을 받지않는 자들을 향하여 두 사도는 발의 띠끌을 떨어버렸다. 그러나 쫓겨나갈 때 제자들은 기쁨과 성령이 충만하였다. 복음은 나로 하여금 처한 환경을 극복하게 하신다. 고난 가운데서도 기쁨과 성령이 충만케 하신다.
결단과 적용
내가 처한 형편과 환경은 슬픔과 분노외에는 충만할것이 없다. 매일 육신적으로 너무 고된 삶이다. 그러나 주님이 계시기에 하루 하루의 삶이 기쁨이 넘치고 성령이 충만하다. 그래서 오늘도 이땅에서 영생을 누리며 살아간다.

Observation and meditation on the text
On the next Sabbath, almost the whole city gathered to hear the word. The Jews heaped abuse on Paul out of jealousy. The two apostles declared that they were chosen by God as light for the gentiles because the Jews rejected the gospel. The Jews incited the rich and the powerful to expel them from their region.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The two apostles shook the dust off their feet as a warning of God’s judgment. However, when they were expelled from the city, they were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. The gospel enables me to overcome the odds of my surroundings. God filles me with joy and the Holy Spirit in the middle of the hardships.
Decisions and applications
My present situation makes me filled with nothing but sorrow and anger. Physically, I am totally exhausted and burned out. However, since Jesus is in my heart, my daily life is filled with joy and the Holy Spirit. Therefore, daily I live an everlasting life on earth here and now.
