‘후손에게 물려줄 최고의 유산’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
다윗은 이스라엘의 모든 리더들에게 성전건축 의 의미를 설명했다. 성전은 하나님의 임재의 상징으로 모든 백성이 하나님중심으로 살아야 하고 그 성전은 솔로몬이 지을것을 말했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
사람의 피를 많이 흘린 다윗은 성전 을 짓지 못했다. 다윗은 순종했다. 성전은 예수의 피로 죄 사함을 받아 성령이 거하실때 내가 성전이 된다.
3. 결단과 적용
다윗은 왕위를 후손에게 물려준 것이 아니라 왕이신 예수님을 물려주었다. 예수가 다스리시는 자와 공동체는 영원하다. 인간이 후손에게 물려주는 최고의 선물은 왕중의 왕이신 예수다.
*오늘의 기도
예수 중심으로 말씀에 순종하고 살때 예수가 내안에 왕으로 거하심으로 나는 성전이 된다. 오늘도 나의 후손에게 왕이신 예수를 유산으로 물려주며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도 합니다. 아멘.
‘The greatest legacy for my descendants.’
1 Chronicles 28:1-10
1. Observation and Meditation on the text
David challenges his leaders to understand the spiritual significance of building the temple of God. Because the temple symbolizes God’s presence, His people are called to live God-centered lives. David declares that his son Solomon—not himself—will be the one to build it.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God told David that he was not qualified to build the temple because he was a man of war who had shed much blood. David submitted to God's word with obedience. Through this, I am reminded that I become a living temple of God when my sins are washed away by the blood of Jesus Christ.
3. Decisions and Applications
Rather than simply passing down a earthly dynasty, David provided his descendants with the far greater legacy of God's covenant kingdom. When I am ruled by Jesus Christ, the King of kings, both my life and the lives of my descendants gain eternal purpose. The greatest legacy I can hand down to future generations is faith in Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords.
*Today’s prayer
Lord, when I obey You, You reign as my King, and I become a temple where Your Holy Spirit resides. Empower me today so that I may pass down faith in You—the King of kings—as the ultimate legacy to my descendants. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
