‘악인들의 말로는 수치와 멸망이다’
본문관찰과 묵상
아모리 족속의 5왕이 도망해 굴속에 숨었다. 여호수아는 5왕을 굴속에서 끌어내 모든 백성이 보는 앞에서 지휘관들이 왕들의 목을 발로 밟고 죽였다. 왕들이 숨었던 막게다 성도 진멸했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
‘사람의 모든 죄와 훼방은 사하심을 얻되 성령을 훼방하는 것은 (금생과 내생’에 사하심을 얻지 못한다’ (마 12:31-32). 전무후무한 기적을 통해 나를 대신해 싸우시는 하나님을 대적하면 목이 밟히는 수치와 멸망 을 당한다.
결단과 적용
나의 열심보다 더 큰 것이 하나님의 열심이다. 하나님의 열심 이 한 아들을 나에게 주셨다. 어깨에 정사를 메고 다스리시는 평강의 왕 하나님을 대적하는 자는 결국 멸망 당한다. 내가 싸울 필요가 없다. 오늘도 주님의 다스림에 묵묵히 순종하며 살아간다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The 5 kings of the Amorites hid themselves in a cave. Joshua took them out of the cave and let the army commanders put their feet on the necks of the kings before all the men of Israel, and they killed the kings.. The Israelites destroyed the city of Makkedah where they hid the 5 kings.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
‘Every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven’ (Matt. 12:31-32). If anyone does blaspheme against God who fights for me through such unprecedented miracles will be put to shame as their necks are trodden by God and eventually destroyed.
Decisions and applications
God’s enthusiasm is greater than my zeal. Out of God’s zeal God has given me a son on whose shoulder government is lain. Anyone who blasphemes against the king of peace will be destroyed. I don’t need to fight against them. God will reign over them. Therefore, today I simply obey the Lord in silence.
