‘세상속에서 사는 그리스도인들이여 들으라’

본문관찰과 묵상

     예수를 보낸 하나님을 모르기에 세상 사람들은 예수를 핍박하고 예수믿는 나를 핍박한다.  모르고 한 것은 죄가 없으나 예수가 와서 그 진리를 말했기에 더 이상 핑계대지 못한다.  보혜사가 부활하신 예수 증거하고 나도 증언한다.         

QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성

     모르고 지은 죄를 하나님은 심판하지 않으신다.  그래서 하나님을 모르고 죄짓고 예수 믿는 사람들을 핍박하는 자들을 위해 부활하신 예수가 부활의 영 보혜사를 보내주신다.  그 영으로 능력받아 나도 예수를 증거하여 믿게한다.      

결단과 적용

     나는 큰 은혜 받은 자다.  믿는 가정에서 태어나 모태신앙으로 자라며 부모형제에게 많은 사랑을 받고 살았다.  방황할때도 다 나를 믿어주고 기도하며 나를 기다렸다.  주의 종이 되었을 때 핍박은커녕 다 기뻐해 주셨다.  박해 대신 큰 은혜 받았다.  그러므로 예수 증거하며 박해받는 것은 기쁨이다.  그래서 오늘도 기쁜마음으로 조롱받으며 예수를 전하는 것은 부활의 영, 예수 그리스도의 영으로 충만하기 때문이다.

John 15:18-27    

Observation and meditation on the text   

     Since the world has never known God who sent Jesus, they have persecuted such a Christian as me as well as Jesus Christ.  Since they did not know, they thus committed sins, therefore, they have never been judged for their ignorance.  However, they cannot make any excuses because they have heard the Truth since Jesus has come.   Since God has sent the Advocate in Jesus’ name, and witnessed Jesus, I will also keep on witnessing Jesus because I am living with Jesus now.

I hear the voice of the Lord through QT

     God never judges any sinners who commit sins out of ignorance of God.  Therefore, God has sent Jesus Christ so that those who persecuted Jesus might believe in Jesus. For those who had heard Jesus but never believed him, the resurrected Jesus sent his resurrected Holy Spirit, who is the Advocate.  By being filled with the Advocate, I have received enough power to witness Jesus Christ so that others may believe in Jesus too.

Decisions and applications

     I have been blessed greatly and unequivocally.  Since I was born and raised in a dedicated Christian family, I was beloved by my parents and siblings.  Even though when I was wandering around without a life goal, they still believed in me and waited for me with incessant prayers and love.  When I became a servant of God, they were all rejoicing instead of giving any persecution or ridicules.  I have been blessed more than enough.  Therefore, now I volunteer to be afflicted by witnessing Jesus Christ.  It is not me but the Advocate, the resurrected Holy Spirit from Jesus Christ who enables me to do that.
