‘예수를 하나님으로 믿고 구하면 임하는 기적’
본문관찰과 묵상
예수를 하나님으로 믿고 구하면 근심에서 놓임받는다. 예수 재림때 천국으로 인도한다. 예수가 하나님인 것이 않믿어지면 행하는 일을 보면 믿는다. 나도 예수보다 더 큰 일을 할 수 있다. 예수 이름으로 구하면 무엇이든지 이루어주신다. 예수로 말미암아 아버지 하나님이 영광받게 한다.
QT를 통하여 듣는 주님의 음성
유대인들은 예수님이 베푼 숱한 기적을 보고도 목수의 아들이기에 메시야로 믿지 못했다. 선입관, 고정관념이 예수를 믿지 못하게 한다. 예수는 빌립에게 예수를 본자는 하나님을 보았다고 했다. 예수가 하나님이시다.
결단과 적용
‘믿음은 모든 사람의 것은 아니다’(살후 3:2). 내가 한번도 보지도 만져보기도 못한 예수를 하나님이라고 믿은 것은 복음을 들어 믿음이 생겼기 때문이다 (롬 10:17). 말씀을 들을 때 성령이 감동하여 예수를 하나님(고전 12:3) 이라고 믿고 고백하며 산다. 예수가 하신 일인 복음을 전파하며 예수를 증거하며 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
If I believe in Jesus as God, I shall be set free from worries. My faith in Jesus will lead me to heavenly kingdom at Parousia. If I cannot believe in Jesus as God, I better see his work, then I can believe Jesus as God. I can do what Jesus has done, and greater things than those. If I ask God in Jesus’ name, God answers my prayers. Therefore, I can glorify God by believing in Jesus Christ.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Jews could not believe in Jesus as Messiah even though they witnessed numerous miracles Jesus had performed because Jesus was a son of a carpenter. Prejudice and fixed ideas prevent me from believing in Jesus as God. Jesus spoke to Philip that whoever saw Jesus, they saw God. Jesus is God.
Decisions and applications
‘Not everyone has faith’ (II Thess 3:2). I believe in Jesus whom I have never seen nor touched as God by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, which has given me faith (Rom 10:17). When I heard the gospel of Jesus Christ, I was touched by the Holy spirit and could believe Jesus as God (I Co 12:3). Therefore, today I simply witness Jesus by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Jesus nor God.
