‘남의 유익과 하나님의 영광을 위해 살라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
모든 것이 가하나 모든 것이 유익하지도 덕을 세우지도 못한다. 남의 유익을 위해 나를 절제함이 유익하며 하나님의 영광을 위해 사는 것이 덕 있는 삶이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나를 위해 사는 것이 우상숭배요 하나님의 영광을 가린다. 나의 우상을 버리고 믿음이 연약한 사람에게 상처주지 않을 때 하나님께 영광 돌리며 살 수 있다.
3. 결단과 적용
나의 유익보다 믿음의 공동체인 교회와 PGM을 먼저 귀히 여기며 살아왔다. 공동체에 유익이 되면 주님이 영광 받으신다.
오늘의 기도
주여 오늘도 나보다 타인의 유익을 위하여, 내가 영광 받기 보다 주님이 영광 받으시도록 나를 쳐서 복종시키며 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Live for others and the glory of the Lord’
I Co. 10:23–33
1. Observation and Meditation
I have the freedom to do anything, but not everything is beneficial or constructive. True benefit comes from living for others and for the glory of God, rather than focusing solely on myself.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
Living only for myself is a form of idolatry that obscures the glory of God. By laying down my personal idols and embracing those who are weak, I can truly bring glory to Him.
3. Decisions and Applications
I have committed to living for the benefit of the church and PGM. Whatever I do, if it builds up and benefits the faith community, it will ultimately glorify the Lord.
Today's Prayer
Lord, empower me to discipline my body and bring it under submission, so that I may live for the benefit of others and for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
