‘하나님의 자녀와 마귀의 자녀들’
본문관찰과 묵상
하나님의 씨가 그 안에 머무는 자는 의로운 일을 행한다. 주를 향한 소망이 있기에 늘 자신을 깨끗하게 지킨다. 반면, 마귀의 자녀는 불법을 행한다. 가인이 의로운 아벨에게 악을 행한 것처럼, 형제를 사랑하지 않고 악을 행하는 자가 바로 마귀의 자녀다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
‘하나님의 씨’는 곧 ‘하나님의 말씀’이다(눅 8:11 씨의 비유). 하나님 의 말씀이 내 안에 살아 움직일 때, 나는 하나님이 기뻐하시는 의로 운 일을 행할 수 있다. 내 안에 말씀이 부재할 때 마귀가 틈타며, 그가 기뻐 하는일을 하게 됨을 경계해야 한다.
결단과 적용
내 안에 '하나님의 씨'인 말씀이 거하는가가 내가 하나님의 자녀인지 마귀의 자녀인지를 결정짓는 기준이 된다. 말씀이 육신이 되어 오신 예수 그리스도의 말씀만이 ‘참된 양식’이요, 그분의 피만이 ‘참된 음료’ 다(요 6:53-57). 오늘도 그 말씀을 먹고 마심으로 내 안에 채워, 주님이 기뻐하시는 의인 곧 형제를 사랑하며 살기를 결단한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Those who have God's seed in them do righteous things. They always keep themselves pure because they have hope in the Lord. The children of the devil commit lawlessness. Those who do evil to righteous Abel, like Cain, are children of the devil.
Hearing the Lord's voice through QT
"God's seed" is "God's word" (Luke 8:11, Parable of the Seed). If God's word is in me, I do what pleases God, that is, what is righteous. If the word is not in me, I do what pleases the devil.
Decision and Application
Whether or not the seed of God, the Word of God, is within me determines whether I am a child of God or a child of the devil. The Word of Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, is "true food," and His blood is "true drink" (John 6:53-57). According to His Word, I live today, practicing righteousness.
