‘십자가의 도가 하나님의 능력’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
표적을 찾는 유대인이나 지혜를 찾는 헬라 인에게 십자가에 죽은 예수는 미련한 것이다. 그러나 믿는 자에게 그리스도는 하나님의 지혜요 하나님의 능력이다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
이 세상의 지혜로는 하나님을 알지 못해 전도의 미련한 방법으로 구원받게 한다. 죽음으로 살리는 복음은 거리끼고 미련해도 하나님의 지혜다.
3. 결단과 적용
내가 그리스도와 함께 억울함도 죽어서 잠잠한 것은 미련한 것 같아도 하나님의 지혜다. 끝까지 내가 죽음으로 살리는 삶을 살아가리라.
오늘의 기도
“내가 그리스도와 함께 십자가에 못밖혔나니 그런즉 이제는 내가 산 것이 아니요 오직 내 안에 그리스도께서 사신 것이 라. 이제 내가 육체가운데 사는 것은 나를 사랑하사 나를 위하여 자기 몸을 버리신 하나님의 아들을 믿는 믿음 안에서 사는 것이라” (갈 2:20). 하나님의 지혜로 오늘도 죽어 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘The message of the cross is the power of God’
I Co. 1:18–25
1. Observation and Meditation
To the Jews, the cross is a stumbling block; to the Gentiles, it is sheer foolishness. Yet, to those of us who believe, Christ crucified is the ultimate embodiment of God’s wisdom and power. What the world rejects as weakness, God uses as His greatest strength.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
I hear the Lord reminding me that the world, despite all its human logic, failed to know Him. Instead, God chose the "foolishness" of the Gospel to save those who believe. While the message of a crucified Savior seems nonsensical to the worldly mind, it is actually the divine wisdom that brings life to sinners.
3. Decisions and Applications
Today, I recognize that choosing to stay silent and crucifying myself by God's wisdom in action. I commit to living a life that revives those around me by "dying to myself" and letting go of my own grievances today.
Today's Prayer
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me" (Galatians 2:20). Lord, empower me with Your wisdom today. Help me to truly die to my pride and my hurt, so that Jesus may be seen in me. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
