‘가나안의 남쪽 땅을 받은 유다 지파’
본문관찰과 묵상
가나안의 가장 비옥한 땅을 유다 지파가 받았다. 첫째, 그리스도가 오실 지파였기 때문이다. 둘째, 광야 진행과 가나안 정복에서 늘 선두에 섰던 지파였다. 셋째, 하나님 대적하지 않았다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
장자 르우벤은 아버지 침상을 더렵혔다. 차자 시므온과 3째 레위는 혈기로 야곱의 저주를 받았다. 4째 아들 유다는 찬송하는 자였다. 영적으로 장자의 역할을 감당해 이스라엘의 대표가 되었다.
결단과 적용
육신적으로 태어난 순서로 집안의 리더가 되는 것이 아니다. 하나님 중심의 삶을 살고 공동체의 선두에서 찬양으로 길을 여는 자가 리더가 된다. 공동체를 살리는 사람이 리더가 된다. 공동체를 깨트리는 사람은 하나되게 하신 성령을 훼방하는 자로 멸망한다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Judah tribe received the most fertile land. Why? First, from Judah, the Messiah would come. Second, Judah took the lead in the wilderness and in conquering the land. Third, the never resisted against Moses as well as God.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The first born Reuben defiled his father’s bed. The second son Simeon and the third Levi were cursed by Jacob for merciless action by fleshly wrath. The fourth son Judah was a man of praise. He lived as a spiritual firstborn son and represented Israel.
Decisions and applications
A leader is not appointed by birth order. One becomes a leader when he lives God-centered life by taking the lead his community with praises of God to open a way in life. When I revive a community, I become a leader. If one divides a community, he will destroy his life because God never forgive anyone who blaspheme a community which has been united by the Holy Spirit.
