‘나의 신발을 벗어 주님께 드립니다’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
기업무를 자가 신발을 벗어 보아스에게 주었다. 수많은 증인 앞에서 자신의 권리를 넘겨준 것이다. 나의 모든 권리를 주님께 양도한다. 주님이 나를 구원하신다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
모세도 하나님 앞에 신발을 벗었다. 모든 권리를 주께 드렸다. 보아스가 엘리멜렉 집안의 모든 재산을 사서 주고 룻을 아내로 대를 잇게 했다. 보아스는 예수 그리스도의 모형이다.
3. 결단과 적용
룻은 모든 증인의 축복을 받았다. 라헬과 레아 같이 이스라엘의 조상이 되고 다말이 유다에게서 낳은 베레스 의 집과 같이 대를 물려 복받게 축복했다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 내 신을 벗어 주께 드립니다. 모든 권리를 주께 양도합니다. 나의 집안을 구원하시고 대를 물려 믿음의 가문으로 세워주소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘!
‘The Exchange of the Sandal’
Ru. 4:7-12
1. Observation and Meditation
In ancient Israel, transferring a right or finalizing a covenant was symbolized by a man taking off his sandal and handing it to another. By giving his shoe to Boaz, the closer kinsman was publicly saying, "I step aside so you may step in." In the same way, I surrender my "shoes"—my path, my rights, and my will—to Jesus. He is my True Redeemer who paid the debt I could not afford.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT
The Lord reminds me of Moses at the burning bush, standing on holy ground with bare feet. To take off one's shoes is to acknowledge God’s sovereignty and our own dependence. Boaz didn’t just buy land; he restored a family and a future. When I give my rights to God, He doesn't just take them—He redeems and multiplies them for His Kingdom.
3. Decisions and Applications
Just as the elders prayed for Ruth to be as fruitful as Rachel and Leah, I pray for my life to leave a legacy of faith. I choose to trust God with my "genealogy"—not just my past, but the future of my children and my household.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I take off my shoes before You today. I transfer every right, every worry, and every ambition into Your hands. Establish my home upon the rock of Your salvation. May my family be a house of faith that reflects Your glory to the world. In the name of Jesus Chris I pray. Amen.
