‘회개하는 자는 살리시는 하나님’ 

1. 본문 관찰과 묵상

허물과 죄가 삶을 쇠퇴하게 한다.  하나님은 악인이 죽는 것을 원치 않으신다.  회개하는 자는 다시 살리신다.  의로운 자가 죄를 지으면 그의 의로움을 하나님은 기억하지 않는다.

2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

다윗도 살인죄, 간음죄 지었지만 회개함으로 다시 살리셨다.  악인이 회개하면 살지만 자신의 의를 내세우는 회개하지 못하는 자들은 다 망한다.  행한대로 심판하신다.

3. 결단과 적용 

나는 사람과 싸우지 않는다.  나 자신과 싸우며 계속 내 죄를 고백하고 주님 주시는 새 힘을 얻으며 산다.  나의 원수도 회개하고 돌아와 살림 받기를 기도한다.  

오늘의 기도

주여, 오늘도 다른 사람의 죄를 정죄하는 대신 나의 죄를 회개하며 잠잠히 주의 용서와 은혜로 살게 하소서.  나를 대적 하는 자들이 회개하고 돌아와 살림 받게 하소서.     예수님의 이름 으로 기도합니다.  아멘. 

‘God Who revives the repentant’

Ezekiel 33:10–20

1. Observation and meditation on the text

"My offenses and sins weigh me down." Yet, God takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked; instead, He desires that they turn from their ways, repent, and be restored. At the same time, if righteous people turn away to commit sin and rely on their past goodness, their former righteousness will not be remembered.

2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT

King David committed severe sins—adultery and murder—yet he was restored and revived when he truly repented. If a wicked person repents and turns back to God, their life is spared and restored. However, if a righteous person falls into unrepentant sin, they will perish. God is just; He judges each person according to their own actions and heart.

3. Decisions and applications

Turn Inward: I choose not to fight against human enemies. Instead, I will fight the internal battle against my own ego, continually confessing my sins to live by the power of God’s forgiveness and restoration.  Rather than judging those who oppose me, I will pray for my enemies so that they, too, may experience repentance and the revival of their souls.

Today's Prayer

Lord, as I examine my heart today, keep me from judging others. I repent of my sins and lay them before You, trusting in Your grace and mercy to live each day as a forgiven child of God. I also bring my enemies before You, praying that Your grace touches their hearts so they may repent and be revived in Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
