‘재림을 준비하며 사는 그리스도인’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
다니엘이 예언한 것처럼 예루살렘이 이방 군대에게 망했다(눅 21:20 66-70유대전쟁). 환난의 때가 재림 때도 온다. 그리스도라 자처하는 거짓 선지자들이 미혹한다.’
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
인자의 재림은 번개처럼 임한다 (호 6:6/마24:27). 이 때는 도망할 수 없다. 군대가 쳐들어오면 도망가야 되지만 재림주가 오시면 그 자리에서 맞이해야 한다.
3. 결단과 적용
예수의 재림때에는 거짓선지자가 먼저 온다. “사랑하는 자 들아 영을 다 믿지 말고 오직 영들이 하나님께 속하였나 분별하라 많은 거짓 선지자가 세상에 나왔음이라” (요일 4:1). 솔로몬이 구한 “분별하는 지혜” 를 주소서!
오늘의 기도
“만물의 마지막이 가까웠으니 그러므로 너희는 정신을 차리고 근신하여 기도하라” (벧전 4:7). “모든 피조물은 말씀과 기도로 거룩하여 지나이다” (딤전 4:5). 그러므로 말씀과 기도로 금생과 내세에 약속 있는 경건에 이르는 연습을 오늘도 계속 하게 하소서! (딤전 4:8). 영을 분별하지 못해 속아서 살아가는 많은 어리석은 자들이 깨닫고 돌아오게 하소서! 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.
‘Christians Preparing for the Parousia’
Mt. 24:15-28
1. Observation and Meditation
As the prophet Daniel foretold, Jerusalem was seized by gentile armies and destroyed (Luke 21:20 highlights this during the Jewish resistance of 66–70 AD). Similarly, Parousia will be a time of unprecedented suffering. Before Jesus returns, false prophets will appear, claiming to be the Christ to deceive many.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Through this meditation, I hear the Lord’s warning: at the Parousia, Jesus will come in judgment like a flash of lightning (Hosea 6:5, Matthew 24:27), and no one will be able to hide. While people may flee from a human army, when Jesus returns to judge the earth, everyone will meet Him exactly where they are and as they are.
3. Decisions and Applications
Because false prophets will precede the Parousia, I must remember the warning in 1 John 4:1: "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." Lord, please grant me the same "wisdom to discern" that You bestowed upon Solomon.
Today's Prayer
"The end of all things is near. Therefore, be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray" (1 Pet. 4:7). Knowing that "all creation is consecrated by the word of God and prayer" (1 Tim. 4:5), please empower me with the spirit of discernment. May those who have been deceived by false prophets realize the truth and return to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray.
