‘후회하지 말고 회개하라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
가룟 유다는 후회한 후 자살했다. 총독 빌라도는 예수가 무죄함을 알면서도 민란이 날까 두려워 바라바를 놓아주고 예수를 십자가 형에 처했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
가룟 유다와 총독 빌라도는 눈앞의 유익을 위해 의를 버렸다. 오늘도 회개하며 자신의 죄를 죽이는 자는 살고 살기위해 십자가를 버리면 죽는다.
3. 결단과 적용
나의 명예를 위해 십자가를 팔지 않으리라. 내가 당하는 억울함을 이미 십자가 못박아 죽어버렸다. 그래서 나는 살았다. 십자가를 버리고 자신의 유익을 찾는 자는 죽는다.
오늘의 기도
“나로 말미암아 너희를 욕하고 박해하고 거짓으로 너희를 거슬러 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니 기뻐하고 즐거워하라 하늘에서 너희의 상이 큼이라 너희 전에 있던 선지자들도 이같이 박해하였느니라” (마 5:11-12). 오늘도 이 기쁨과 즐거움으로 살아가게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.

1. Observation and Meditation
Judas Iscariot felt the weight of his betrayal, but his remorse led only to despair and suicide. Similarly, Governor Pilate recognized Jesus’ innocence, yet he chose to ignore justice to prevent a riot. Both men abandoned what was right—Judas for silver and Pilate for political security. They chose immediate gratification over eternal truth.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
The Holy Spirit reminds me today that choosing my own desires over the way of the Cross leads to destruction. If I "crucify" my fleshly impulses, I find restoration. However, if I abandon the Cross to satisfy my ego or comfort, I risk losing my soul.
3. Decisions and Applications
I resolve never to disown the Cross for the sake of my own glory. Because I have been crucified with Christ, my old self—along with its resentment and anger—is dead. I am truly alive only when I remain at the foot of the Cross. Today, I will seek God’s honor rather than my own.
Today's Prayer
"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven..." (Mt. 5:11-12). Lord, help me to live with this heavenly perspective today. Grant me the gladness and joy that come from faithfulness, even when it is difficult. May I choose repentance over regret and your glory over my own. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
