‘하나님의 구원은 사람을 통해서도 이루신다’
본문관찰과 묵상
라합이 두 정탐꾼을 성벽 위의 집에서 붉은 줄로 달아내려 산으 로 피신하게 했다. 이스라엘이 여리고를 공격할 때 그 붉은 줄을 창에 매달고 온 가족이 그 안에 있어 구원받을 것을 서로 약속했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님의 구원은 항상 하나님이 준비한 사람들을 통해 역사한다. 두 정탐꾼이 라합을 만나고 그를 통해 구원받게 한다. 나도 말씀을 전하는 종을 만나 전도의 미련한 방법으로 말씀을 듣고 구원받았다.
결단과 적용
오늘 나도 누구에게인가 라합이 되어 구원으로 인도하는 복으로 살리라. 그 라합이 예수의 조상이 되었듯이 그렇게 함으로 나도 예수의 증인이 되어 성도들과 동일한 시민이요 하나님의 가족으로 살아가리라!

Observation and meditation on the text
Rahab let the 2 spies down by a rope through the window so that they could run from the pursuers to the hills. The spies promised that they would be saved with their family members who hid themselves in the room where the scarlet cord was hung on the window when the Israelites would come to attack Jericho.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
God’s salvation is completed by some people whom God has prepared from time to time. The 2 spies met Rahab, and through her they were saved. God saved me when I heard the gospel through a God’s servant who preached the gospel through the foolishness of evangelism.
Decisions and applications
Today I will live as another Rahab so that I may be a blessing to someone by leading that person to Jesus Christ to be saved. Then, I will be no longer a foreigner and stranger, but fellow citizen with God’s people and also a member of his household as Rahab later became an ancestor of Jesus Christ as she witnesses Christ, the Savior and Lord.
