‘여호와의 날은 환난의 날, 구원의 날’
본문관찰과 묵상
여호와의 날에 예루살렘은 이방인에 의해 망할 것이다. 그러나 남은자의 구원을 위해 하나님이 싸우신다. 홍해를 갈라 구원의 길을 여셨듯 감람산을 둘로 쪼개 골짜기의 길로 주님이 오셔 구원하신다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
웃시야 왕 때 사람들이 지진을 피해 골짜기로 피하듯이 남은자는 재림 주가 오시는 골짜기 길에서 주의 빛으로, 생수로 구원받을 것이 다. 주님의 재림을 믿기에 오늘을 어떻게 살지 비전이 생긴다.
결단과 적용
나는 주님이 내 생애 끝 날까지 나와 함께 하심을 믿기에 오늘 꿈과 비전을 가지고 주님의 영광을 위해 살아간다. 주의 구원을 바라며 잠잠히 억울한 누명을 쓰면서도 평안을 누리며 산다. 하나님의 날에 하나님은 불의를 심판하시고 거짓이 드러나게 하시고 진리와 함께 한 남은자를 빛과 생수로 구원하심을 믿는다.

Observation and meditation on the text
Jerusalem will be destroyed by the gentiles on the day of the Lord. However, the remnant will be saved by God who will fight for them. As God saved the Israelites by splitting the Red Sea, God will split the Mount Olive in two on the day of the Lord so that God will save the remnant by coming through the valley.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
As people fled from earthquake to the valley in times of king Uzziah, the remnant will meet the Savior who will come through the valley and will be saved by his Light and Living water. Since I believe in Parousia, I have a vision of how to live and what to live for today to meet my Savior and Lord.
Decisions and applications
Since I believe that the Lord will be with me to the end of my life on earth, I live today with vision to glorify the Lord. I live in peace with the Lord even though I am falsely accused. I do believe that on the day of the Lord God will judge injustice by revealing untruth and false accusations while saving those who live the truth in humility by his Light and Living water.
