‘각각 부르심을 받은 그대로 행하라.’

1. 본문 관찰과 묵상

바울은 부르심 받은 대로 결혼하지 않았다. 무할례자로 부르심 받은 이방인은 할례 받지 않아도 된다.  하나님이주신 계명을 지키면 된다. 

2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성

종일 때 부르심을 받아 자유인이 되었으면 그리스도의 종이니 사람의 종 노릇 할 필요가 없다.   값으로 산바 되었으니 사람의 종이 아니다.    

3. 결단과 적용 

나는 이방인으로 부르심을 받았으니 할례를 받을 필요가 없다.  주님이 값을 주고 나를 사셨으니 나는 오직 그리스도의 종으로 살리라. 

오늘의 기도

주여, 나는 그리스도의 종이니 사람의 종 노릇 하지 않고 살게 하소서.  나는 주께 속한 자유인이요 의롭다 칭함을 받은 자니 나의 의 되신 예수 그리스도를 전하며 살게 하소서.  예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다.  아멘. 

‘Each person must remain in the situation they were in when God called them.’

I Co. 7:17-24

1. Observation and Meditation

Paul emphasizes that we should contentedly remain in the life situation we were in when God called us. For instance, those called as Gentiles do not need to be circumcised. What truly matters is not our external social or religious status, but our radical obedience to keeping God’s commandments.

2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord through QT

The Lord reminds me that I was once a slave to sin, but when He called me, He set me free to become a servant of Christ. Because I was bought at a high price by His grace, I no longer need to live as a slave to human expectations, approval, or systems.

3. Decisions and Applications

• Identity: I accept who I am in Christ. Since I was called as a Gentile, I do not need to conform to legalistic religious rituals (like circumcision) to please God.

• Devotion: Because Jesus bought me at the ultimate price, I will live intentionally today as a devoted servant of Christ, letting His will guide my actions.

Today's Prayer

Lord, empower me today to live free from the bondage of human approval, knowing that I am solely a servant of Christ. Because I belong to You and have been called into Your righteousness, give me the strength and boldness to witness for my Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
