본문 관찰과 묵상
출애굽 후에 제 1차 인구조사의 총수는 603,550명 이었다. 가데스 바네아에서의 반역이후 출애굽 1세대는 모세, 여호수아 갈렙외에는 다 죽었다. 가나안에 들어가기전 2번째 출애굽후 광야에서 낳은 2세대의 인구조사 결과 601,730 이었다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
하나님과 지도자들을 향한 반역과 염병에 죽은 자 들이 많이 있었지만 광야에서 태어난 새로운 2세들의 인구는 1세대와 거의 같았다. 광야에서도 하나님은 신실하지 못한 백성에게 신실하셨다.
결단과 적용
30년의 목회여정은 광야 같았다. 그러나 힘들고 어렵고 배반하는 사람들이 많이 나타나고 징계도 있었지만 하나님은 신실하셨다. 신실하지 못한 나를 신실하게 대해주신 변함없는 하나님의 사랑과 긍휼하심을 입었다. 그 힘으로 오늘을 산다.

Observation and meditation on the text
The total number of the 1st census after Exodus was 603,550. After the revolt against God at Kadesh Barnea, the entire 1st generation were not allowed to enter Canaan except Joshua and Caleb. The total number of the 2nd census just before conquering Canaan was 601,730.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
The total number of the 2nd generation Israelites who were born in the wilderness was as many as the 1st generation total numbers. Even in the wilderness God was faithful to the unfaithful people so that they could be ready to conquer Canaan.
Decisions and applications
30 years of my pastoral ministry was exactly the same life as in the wilderness. However, God was as faithful as usual even though there were many who betrayed me and many chastisement from God. Such an unfaithful person like me, however, the faithful God has blessed me with his unchanging love and mercy. I live today with such an immense and immeasurable love of God.
