‘약속의 땅 모든 족속이 망한이유’
본문관찰과 묵상
가나안의 모든 족속이 여호수아에게 망한 이유는 저들의 마음이 완악하여 이스라엘을 대적하여 싸웠기 때문이다. 이는 하나님이 저들을 멸하시려고 악한 마음을 품게 했다.
QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
기브온 주민인 히위 족속만 살아남은 이유는 하나님이 이스라엘 과 함께 하심을 듣고 대적하지 않고 화친을 맺었기 때문이다. 하나님을 대적하면 완악해 져서 믿는 사람들도 핍박하다 망한다.
결단과 적용
12명이 정탐하러 갔을 때 10명은 거인인 아낙 자손들을 두려워했다. 그러나 여호수아는 그 아낙 자손들을 다 쫓아냈다. 첫째, 여호수아는 하나님께 기도했다. 둘째, 한 사람의 기도를 들으시고 한 민족을 구원하셨다. 나의 중보기도가 다시 불붙게 하소서! 안디옥교회 에도 318 중보기도단이 부흥케 하소서!

Observation and meditation on the text
The indigenous tribes in Canaan were destroyed by Joshua because they hardened their hearts and made a band to fight against Israel. God wanted to destroy them by letting them to incubate wickedness and hardened hearts toward Israel and God wanted to judge them by destroying them.
I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Among them only the Hivites living in Gibeon was saved because they knew the Lord was with Israel and made a peace treaty with them instead of choosing to fight. Anyone who resist against God are inclined to harden their heart, and they easily persecute and fight against the believers only to be destroyed.
Decisions and applications
When 12 spies were dispatched to investigate Canaan, 10 of them were struck by fear of the giants of the Anakites. However, Joshua gave ‘herem’ out of them by destroying them. How could he do that? First, Joshua prayed to God. Second, God answered one’ man’s prayer and saved one nation. Lord, ignite fire in my intercessory prayer life as well as Antioch Church’s 318 team.
