‘우선순위를 정립하라!’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
믿음의 반대말은 '염려' 다. 무엇을 먹고 입을지 고민하는 생존의 염려는 우리를 두려움과 공황의 늪으로 몰아넣는다. 하지만 주님은 기르지 않는 새도, 수고하지 않는 백합화도 하나님이 입히신다고 말씀한다. 염려의 사슬을 끊는 유일한 방법은 삶의 우선순위를 바로잡는 것이다.
2. QT 를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
"너희는 먼저 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구하라." 하나님의 통치와 그분의 뜻을 내 삶의 1순위로 올릴 때, 기도의 제목이 바뀐다. 내 결핍을 채우는 기도에서 하나님의 기쁨을 구하는 기도로 옮겨갈 때, 세상이 줄 수 없는 평강이 마음을 채운다. 염려가 엄습할 때가 바로 기도의 무릎을 꿇을 때다.
3. 결단과 적용
오늘도 많은 사역 속에 매몰되지 않고, 매 순간 '주님이 원하시는 가장 소중한 일' 을 먼저 선택하며 산다. 먼저 QT와 기도시간을 절대 양보하지 않는다. 주님의 음성을 들으며 삶의 우선순위를 정하고 기도를 통해 하나님이 무엇을 원하는지 그 음성을 들으며 산다.
*오늘의 기도: 주님, 은퇴 후에도 귀한 사역의 현장에 있게 하시니 감사합니다. 때때로 분주함에 마음을 빼앗겨 평안을 잃어버릴 때가 있습니다. 주님, 제가 속도가 아닌 방향에 집중하게 하소서. 많은 일 중에서도 주님의 의를 구하는 일을 가장 앞에 두어, 약속하신 '그 모든 것을 더하시는' 은혜를 경험하게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도드립니다. 아멘.
‘Set your priority in orde’
Mt. 6:25-34
1. Observation and Meditation
The true opposite of faith is worry. When I focus on what I should eat or drink, panic and fear begin to take root. Yet, the birds of the air and the flowers of the field are proof of God’s constant provision. If I align my priorities with His, I can be set free from the burden of anxiety.
2. Listening to the Voice of the Lord
The Lord speaks clearly: "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness." When I put God’s kingdom first, my prayers shift from my needs to His pleasures. This alignment brings a deep peace to my heart. I now realize that whenever worry or concern strikes, it is a signal—a divine invitation—to stop and pray.
3. Decision and Application
I am holding onto Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Today’s Prayer: Lord, I confess that I sometimes feel chased by worries and the pressures of various ministries. However, I come to You with a thankful heart, grateful that I can still serve You even after retirement. Please grant me the discernment to know what pleases You. Help me set my priorities in the right order so I can serve from a place of peace rather than stress. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
