‘예수를 따라 모든 것을 버린 자가 받는 축복’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
부자가 천국에 들어가는 것은 낙타가 바늘 구멍으로 들어가는 것 같이 불가능 하다. 그러나 하나님은 부자를 변화시켜 불가능한 일을 가능하게 하신다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
모든 것을 버리고 예수를 따른 제자들에게 예수가 영광의 보좌에 앉을 때 12 보좌에 앉아 12지파를 심판하게 한다.
3. 결단과 적용
세상의 부귀영화로 축복하는 것이 아니라 돈에 눌려 살지 않고 변화 받아 잘 다스리며 산 자들에게는 예수와 함께 보좌에 앉아 영원히 다스리는 축복을 주시는 것이다.
먼저 된 유대인이 나중 될 수도 있고 나중 된 이방인 먼저 될 수도 있기에 나 같은 이방인도 이스라엘도 다스릴 수 있다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 돈이 나쁜 것이 아니라 돈을 다스리고 사는가 아니면 다스림 받고 사는가 깨닫게 하시니 감사 드립니다. “다스리는 권세” 를 주셨으니 오늘도 내게 주시는 물질의 축복으로 주님께 영광 돌리는 계속 베풀어주고 나누어 주는 선한 청지기로 살게 하소서. 사해 바다처럼 나누지 않아 죽은 바다 되지 않고 갈릴리 바다 되게 하소서. 예수님의 이름 으로 기도합니다.
‘The Blessing of Surrender and the Authority of Stewardship’
Mt. 19. 23-30
1. Observation and Meditation
Jesus illustrates that it is humanly impossible for those who trust in riches to enter the Kingdom—likening it to a camel passing through the eye of a needle. However, what is impossible for man is possible for God. It is God’s grace, not human effort or wealth, that transforms a heart and opens the gates of His kingdom.
2. Hearing the Voice of the Lord
I hear the Lord promising that those who have left everything to follow Him are not losing out. The disciples, who surrendered their worldly security, are promised a place of ultimate authority, seated on thrones to judge the tribes of Israel. True gain is found in what we give up for Christ.
3. Decisions and Applications
God rewards those who prioritize His Kingdom over worldly prosperity by granting them the authority to reign with Him. I realize that many who are "first" in the eyes of the world (the wealthy and powerful) will be "last," while those who are "last" (the humble and selfless) will be "first" in eternity.
Today's Prayer
Lord, I recognize that money is not inherently evil; rather, the danger lies in whether I am ruled by it or if I reign over it. Since You have granted me the authority to reign with You, I choose to use the resources You’ve provided for Your glory. I refuse to be like the Dead Sea—stagnant and only receiving. Instead, I want to be like the Sea of Galilee—a source of life that allows Your blessings to flow through me to the needy. Help me to be a faithful steward of all You have entrusted to me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
