‘원수 갚는 것은 하나님께 맡기라’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 유다를 괴롭힌 에돔과 블레셋을 하나님이 친히 멸망시킬 것이라고 했다. 나를 괴롭힌 나의 원수와 내가 싸울 필요가 없다. 하나님께 맡긴다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
“원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라” (롬 12:19). 나는 절대 사람과 싸우지 않으리라.
3. 결단과 적용
은혜를 악으로 갚는 사람들이 있다. 나를 고통 속에 몰아넣었지만 주님의 손에 맡기니 평안이 넘친다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 앞으로도 원수와도 싸우지 않게 하소서. 공의와 정의의 하나님께 맡겨드리니 주님 뜻대로 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘Leave my vengeance to God’
Ezekiel 25:12–17
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God declared that He would destroy nations like Edom and Philistia, who had oppressed Judah. There is no reason for me to fight against my enemies myself. I commit my vengeance to God.
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord.” I will never fight against my enemies in my own strength.
3. Decisions and applications
There are people who repay good with evil. They have pushed me into a pit of suffering, but I truly enjoy peace now that I have committed them into God’s hands.
Today's Prayer
Lord, help me not to fight against my enemies. I commit everything into Your hands of justice and righteousness. Let Your will be done. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
