‘악을 꾀한 한 사람 같은 니느웨의 종말’
1. 본문 관찰과 묵상
하나님은 죄를 멸하신다. 악을 꾀한 한 사람 같이 니느웨가 유다를 다시 대적했다. 앗수르가 강해 보여도 “엉클어진 가시덤불, 술에 취한자, 마른 지푸라기라고 했다.
2. QT를 통해 듣는 주님의 음성
나훔의 선포는 악인의 사악함은 하나님의 공의의 심판으로 망하고 유다 백성은 다시 회복된다.
3. 결단과 적용
회복은 끝이 아닌 시작이다. 구원받은 자는 예배와 감사의 서원을 갚으며 하나님의 백성의 정체성을 가지도 살아야 한다. 환난 속에 내게 주신 정체성으로 산다.
오늘의 기도
주여, 사악한 거짓으로 백성들을 오도한 니느웨 같은 자의 죄악을 멸하시고 예수 그리스도로 나를 구원하신 주님을 찬양 합니다. 거짓에 속지 않도록 성숙한 정체성으로 살게 하소서. 예수님의 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘.
‘The end of Nineveh, like a man who plots evil’
Nahum 1:9-15
1. Observation and meditation on the text
God destroys sin. Nineveh attacks Judah once again, like a man plotting evil. Although Nineveh appears powerful, God declares that they will be "entangled among thorns, drunken, and eventually consumed like dry stubble."
2. I hear the voice of the Lord through QT
Nahum prophesies that the wickedness of the evil will be destroyed by God’s just and righteous judgment, while His people will be fully restored.
3. Decisions and applications
Restoration is not the end; rather, it is the beginning of a renewed life. Those who are restored must serve the Lord out of pure thankfulness and keep their vows as God’s people. Today, even in the midst of extreme afflictions caused by false accusations, I will live with a renewed identity as God's servant.
Today's Prayer
Lord, destroy the influence of those who, like Nineveh, falsely lead immature people to betray You. I praise You, a just and righteous God, for setting me free from eternal death. Lord, empower me to discern false spirits through the mature identity You have given me as Your servant. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
